The name "Huskia" comes from my name Claudia - I took the “IA” and merged it with my first creation, a husk wall hanging I made back in 2019 and created HUSK-IA! 

I am Wagga born and bred - home of the iconic 5 o’clock wave and the 9th best beach in Australia (...it's true, google it). In April of 2022, my family and I moved to the beautiful Sunshine Coast. A dream of ours for 6+ years, we finally took the leap and are enjoying actual beach life.

I began my flower journey when I was 15 years old; a brace-faced teenager who spent a week's work experience in Wagga's best florist and eventually worked my way up to being a full-time senior floral stylist. Once I graduated High School, I began working in Wedding and Events and fell head over heels in love with the industry!

In May 2024, I launched a retail studio in the heart of Noosa. After a year of retail, Huskia fully transitioned to Event and Wedding floral design. Our space has now become a place where we create florals for our gorgeous Weddings and Event clients and conduct our Bridal consultations.

We are constantly growing, learning and evolving into a brand I am so incredibly proud of! Thank you for letting me call this my job.
